There are 2 bedrooms, each with a plush queen size bed!
How many people can stay?
Up to 4 guests.
What do I have access to?
You will have exclusive access to the property including private beachfront access through our lush garden path, private and exclusive access to the shack.
What extra amenities do you offer?
Amenities at Arku House include a two-person kayak, yoga mats and blocks, outdoor daybed, fire pit, wireless smartphone charging, a large array of books, filtered water, and timber games to enjoy outdoors.
How do I check in?
Arku House is fitted with an electronic keypad for a safe and smooth check-in experience. You will be sent your unique code on the day of check-in.
What time is check-in?
Check-in is from 2pm and check-out is by 10am.
Is there parking?
Yes, there is free parking in the driveway.
Is Arku House pet friendly?
Unfortunately we do not allow pets.
Can we bring our kids?
Due to the bespoke and antique furnishings/decor, being in extremely close proximity to the ocean and river and due to the steep staircases throughout the property we unfortunately are unable to host children and infants.
How far is Arku House from the airport?
Arku House is located a scenic 2 hour and 25 minute drive from Launceston Airport and a 20 minute drive from Burnie Airport.

Anything else I should know?
We are a unique stay and therefore you may come across some quirks that add character to the A-frame.
Arku House has a steep internal staircase along with a large external staircase to enter the home please keep this in mind when booking as it will not suit people with mobility issues.
